Community Service Volunteers
The Center and local municipalities work together to provide a method for individuals to provide community service to meet fine/ticket obligations under the appropriate court's jurisdiction. Community Service Volunteer duties may include clerical jobs, yard work, cleaning of facilities, and other tasks as assigned by the Volunteer Services Office.
The Heart of Texas Behavioral Health Network (formerly Heart of Texas Region MHMR Center) is committed to providing high-quality services to the individuals with whom we work. This agency takes pride in working with the local colleges, universities, civic organizations, and court systems to provide volunteer opportunities to residents in this region. This center has found that volunteers provide an invaluable service to clients and the staff who supervise them. Volunteers must complete an orientation session with the Volunteer Services Office before assuming their role as an active volunteers in this agency. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with this agency, please call (254) 752-3451 and ask for LaToya Robertson, our Volunteer Services Coordinator.
