Youth Prevention Universal (YPU) is an HHSC-funded prevention program serving schools and communities across Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan Counties. YPU provides no-cost, evidence-based prevention programming for students in grades 6–12, including TEKS-aligned curriculum delivered in schools and prevention presentations offered in both school and community settings. Programming aligns with TEKS Chapter 115 and SB 12 requirements and is delivered by trained prevention staff at no cost to districts, campuses, students, or families.
