To our valued Customers, Staff, and Stakeholders,

As you are aware, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a serious threat to public health and we must work together to help control the spread of this virus.  Under the current emergency conditions, the Heart of Texas Region MHMR Center (MHMR) will be limiting access to our facilities.  Additionally, we will be amending service delivery as allowed by State guidelines for the foreseeable future. 

As a provider of specialized healthcare services, it is our responsibility to ensure that we provide a safe environment for all who seek our services, those who deliver our services, and any other who we may come into contact while visiting our facilities.  As such, MHMR has begun conducting health screenings on all who enter our facilities.  We will also temporarily limit access to those visiting our facilities to ensure appropriate social distancing practices can occur, as well as ensure our facilities are appropriately sanitized.    

We continue to work with the State of Texas and other local and federal entities to ensure we follow current and recommended guidelines aimed at combating this virus.  Please know that we are committed to maintaining a healthy workplace so that we may continue to serve you in the safest manner possible.  

We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities’ guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we have reinforced existing policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. We are also limiting business travel and while also having some staff work from alternative locations as permissible.  

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take actions necessary to help keep our employees and customers safe while providing the products and services you need.
